Bulago Island Resort

Bulago Resort (***)

Bulago Island is a 500 acre private Island in Lake Victoria and an excellent place for a few days relaxation. There are over 300 species of birds to watch, and a choice of nature trails provide wonderful opportunities for observing nature at her best. There are about 6 kms of sandy beaches and about 10km of shoreline altogether, the balance of the shoreline is made up of rocky outcrops and low cliffs. The north-east tip of the island contains a small portion of rainforest.
One of Bulago Island’s great virtues is that we are not troubled by mosquitoes.
